![]() The powder gives off a very natural finish and adds to creating a skin like finish of my makeup. This never looks cakey or heavy and it is easily applied to the face. Any shine is reduced to a minimum, and in the video I did (see link above) you can see that even after 8+ hours of wear this powder still makes my makeup look flawless. How does this powder look like on the face?Īs you can see here, the powder definitely sets my makeup in place. When swatched this looks like a very powdery, lightweight texture that would go on matte. While this powder promises a glowy finish there is no detectable sparkle, shimmer or glitter particles to be found in the product itself. I actually don’t mind that because I feel that looks very flatter on the skin provided the yellow shade is not too intense to make the powder too warm toned. The powder is a very finely milled product that has a bit of a yellow undertone. What does the powder do?īefore we can establish what this powder can do, let’s have a look at a swatch. This is the first loose powder I have seen that could be handy even for travel. In fact, this comes with a plastic lid that closes off the sifter. Once you open this up you are not left with an exposed sifter spilling powder left and right every time you open the product. The reason for that? The sifter comes with a cap! Yup that’s right. You know how messy loose powder can get, but with this powder you will have no issues with accidental spills. Good of you to ask, because yes, in fact, this loose powder comes with some of the best packaging I have ever seen. This powder promises to make your makeup last while still looking natural and radiant. But that doesn’t mean they don’t do good products and sometimes get it right. As far as makeup brands go, I dislike Too Faced’s marketing tactics perhaps the least. Their marketing is always geared to making the products sound unbelievable and they are quite aggressive in their approach. ![]() I am always a bit skeptical with product promises, especially Too Faced’s. That is still a decent amount and will last you at least 6 – 8 months with daily use. The Too Faced powder retails for €33.65 and comes with 17 grams of product. ![]() However, that powder didn’t come out on top when I tried 7 loose powders back to back. If you want the most bang for your buck I would recommend trying the RCMA no color powder as you get 85 grams of product for much less than what this goes for. This setting powder doesn’t come cheap, but you do get a lot of product for the price point. Let’s make sure we change that, shall we? Review: Too Faced Born This Way Loose Powder in Translucent It beat my favorite Catrice Nude Illusion Loose Powder off the thrown and to my shock I had not yet devoted a dedicated review to this stunning powder. When I tried 7 cult loose powders that I had heard many people raving about over the years, the one that came out on top was this one! The Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal setting powder in translucent. ![]()
